About Us

Big Reptile World is a trading name of Big Sky Trading Limited, a British limited company. We are a focussed, specialist reptile & exotic pet supplies business. We have three divisions focussed on retail, wholesale & distribution * & international sales **.

Big Sky Trading was founded by John & Mel Berry combining their over 25 years of business experience with in depth knowledge of reptile keeping & care.

John has been involved with reptiles for over 35 years. He has worked as a professional herpetologist both in South Africa and in Europe caring for large reptile park collections and giving educational lectures. Additionally John is an expert in handling and working with venomous snakes, having professionally "milked" snakes of their venom for use in medical research for many years.

(Yes, they are some reptile supplies and products we feel are rubbish so we don’t stock them). If we wouldn’t use it for our own reptiles, we feel we shouldn’t sell it to others!
